Making Dragons
Falkor the dragon presides majestically over the Briar Lane Gallery, suspended from the ceiling and content in her domain. She invites a lot of comment and questions as to her origins; so step behind the curtain to see how, and why, we created this magnificent beast.
Evandale Village Fair
First started in 1983, the Evandale Village Fair and National Penny Farthing Championships are turning 40 years old! The period themed fair and races are held annually in February, and attract enthusiasts from around the word. Take a glimpse inside at the birthday celebrations.
Look who I saw today
This is very exciting as we have been waiting and hoping to see these little creatures in the garden and today, look who I saw.
Luscious Lilies
It’s mid January and the Briar Lane gardens are in full bloom. As the roses momentarily step out of the limelight, the magnificent liliy takes centre stage as the queen of the garden.
Music! Music! Music!
We had a most enjoyable afternoon hosting Chris Jacobson and his incredibly talented students. I even got to play along with Chis and Bruce et al.
A blooming good day in the garden
While weeding away at a frantic pace, (the only way to keep up at this time of the year) it’s great to look up from time to time and see what is blooming.
Crepuscular musings
